Visa and Invitation Letters
For visa purposes, the workshop organizers will issue official invitation letters to those participants who have requested, given that their registration is completed.
Specifically, delegates requiring an invitation letter in order to attend the Workshop may request it in writing to the QoMEX Secretariat (qomex-secreteriat@i-guide.org) specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims to assist delegates, who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Workshop. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Workshop.
Please make sure that in your request to the QoMEX Secretariat you include:
- Name, postal address, and a valid email address.
- Paper number, if you are presenting a paper.
- The words “invitation letter request” in the subject field of your email request.
The invitation letters will be emailed in a printable color pdf format and will state (a) the Workshop title, dates, and location, (b) that the requester has paid the required registration fee in full, and (c) whether the requester is a Workshop Committee Member or author of a paper.
Attendees who need visas are advised to apply to the respective consulate/embassy no later than 3 months prior to the Workshop. For visa information, please visit the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Personal Insurance
The organizers cannot be held responsible for accidents to workshop participants or accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property or for cancellation expenses, regardless of cause.
